  1. The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi seeks a mid-career resource for the position of Assistant Manager at its Alumni Affairs Department. The position reports to the Manager, Alumni Affairs and is responsible for overall communication and relationship development with Alumni. Train and develop the Alumni team for marketing alumni related initiatives and givebacks.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Operational running of the Alumni Affairs unit and coordinating with other operational departments.
    • Networking with the IBA Alumni Batches.
    • Identifying effective communication channels with alumni.
    • Organizing alumni networking events and managing alumni related fundraising scholarships.
    • Working with the resource development team to raise funds from alumni and to plan and help execute ‘Give back to IBA’ campaign.
    • Handle budgeting for alumni activities.
    • Provide necessary support in updating alumni database.
    • Collect information and supervising designing, editing, and printing of the alumni publications.
    • Manage the alumni chapter activities with the coordinators.
    • Manage financial matters of alumni chapters and ensuring their good governance.
    • Training and mentoring the Alumni team.
    • Provide operational support to other partnering teams.
    • Manage the social media pages

    Qualification and Skills Requirement:
    • Masters from an HEC recognized university/institution
    • A minimum of 4-5 years of combined university career services and/or corporate recruitment management experience is preferred.
    • Thorough understanding of and commitment to the goals and responsibilities of the centralized alumni services concept.
    • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
    • Effective organizational and management skills.
    • Demonstrated public relations/marketing abilities to be used on behalf of the university as a whole and alumni services specifically.
    • Very strong linguistics and communication, presentation & writing skills
    • Well-versed in MS Office
    • Strong leadership and managerial skills
    • Networking skills
